Moving into new waters..

Things have started to move on in my marriage.

My ex/wife has less time for me because my ongoing relationship with another woman, and now wants us to move towards legal separation. I had this incredibly tense meeting with her last week where she behaved like a schoolteacher chiding an errant child. She practically said “your dismissed” at the end of her little talk with me.

Since that meeting things have not gone well between us. We make our meetings brief and we avoid eye-contact when we do get a chance to each other. Even though I work away from my home most days now, she is starting to voice reluctance at me arriving to pick up the kids in the morning on those rare days when I am in town.

We still haven’t told the kids exactly what is going on, but the day is approaching very quickly now. I’m still waiting to see how my job will turn out.

Meanwhile I still have my doubts about the long-term sustainability of the current relationship I am in. It’s massively sexual and spontaneous, and I care for her too, but.. I’m still looking around.

It’s all very difficult.
